What career could be

I am having problems with choosing a career. Im really intrested in philosophy. I really like to work outdoors but I get sick in the sun and heat. I thought of fisheries biology. I thought of social work, poilitcal science, psychology, physcial education, and law enforcment. I need help.

Hey Raymond.....you are about as multi-faceted as a gemstone. That being so, you need to narrow your interests by allowing yourself to be carefully shaped.

Are there certain character traits and/or skills that you are particularly strong or gifted in?  If you get sick in the sun and heat you can automatically throw out fisheries, phys. ed. and law enforcement.

Consider taking several career aptitude tests & personality tests to help you narrow your choices. These kinds of tests won't be the end all, but they will give you a good head start. Most colleges offer these tests at little to no cost. Also, a career counselor (at the college) will have plenty of resources to help you explore the best career choices for your life.

If I were you, I would prefer psychology, minoring in psychology education. After graduate, I might apply as a lecture in the university or take another course so that I can open my own psychology clinic.
