What career field yields the most money?

I'm going to be a senior in high school this year, and I'm still trying to decide what exactly I want to major in. I know that happiness is important, success isn't everything, yada yada, but seriously, which career field can I actually make the most money in? I don't want to "follow my dreams" if I end up making less than 40K.

  1. Nurses make 75k/year with a bachelor's degree.

    38k/year with an associates degree.


  2. college professors make the most amount of money per hour (although they work less hours than most professions).

    engineers start at 50k and can make up to 90k.

    Radiation Therapists make 60k after just 2 years of school.

    Engineering technicians can start at 40k after 2 years of shcool.

    Or if you're willing to do more school.....

    lawyers make 60k-130k, psychiartrists average 175k/year.  Physicians make 130k.

    If you are willing to take on the responsibility of saving lives, surgeons make 200k plus.  Heart transplant surgeons make over 400k.  

    Air pilots make 60k-140k.     Pharmacists make 80k.

    Or try lying on your resume so you can become a business executive.  In a typical company, a business executive makes 100k-150k.
