What career opportunities will I have with a BA in Communications?

I'm majoring in Communications and double minoring in Business Administration and Advertising, and I just wanted to know if this is a good field to start a career in.

It's become a popular major.  Make sure you do as many internships as possible.  Work on a research project with a professor.  All that is essential to finding a good job.  My daughter just graduated with a double major, one of which was strategic communications.  She did internships in DC (several) and Australia.  Now she is working on a master's, research funded by Homeland Security on communications of risk/threats.  Hopefully she will be gainfully employed someday.  (college psych professor)
