What careers in business will give a incredible salary but comes with a lot of flexible time for family?

Depends on your definition of "incredible salary" and how flexible the hours must be.  Many companies that offer highly flexible hours also expect long hours (and you should expect to put in long hours for that "incredible salary").  For example, reports suggest Microsoft has fully flexible hours (their "campus" is open 24/7 for employees).  However, in exchange for this flexibility, they expect you to adhere to deadlines, which may mean 60 to 80 hour workweeks as projects reach the end of the cycle.

If you are talking CEO level "incredible salaries" then throw flexibility out the window and expect to be on-call almost 24/7

I had a professor who worked at home as an actuary for a reinsurance company. Every month or two he would travel to the corporate office for a couple days. I think he was making somewhere around 100k+ But of course this didn't happen over night, he was already in his late 30's and didn't always work at home.

In fact he had so much time that I think he taught my class in the morning just because he wanted to.
