get a honda or toyota.

they can pile on mileage

better than any other

and the parts to fix are cheap.

*edit- i recommend a honda civic!!!

one with higher miles will still be good.

and especially watch out for salvaged titles,

dont get it NO MATTER WHAT

the seller tells you; theyre lying!!

for any used cars,

look on carsoup, newspaper, local car dealerships,

and the big big dealerships would probably be

the first choice, because they inspect them before

they take as trade-ins, and there will most likely be a

good warranty as opposed to a private seller.

Pick up an Autotrade or another magazine.  I found a 1995 integra for 6500 with a new motor with paperwork to prove along with other modifications all shop done and was able to talk him down to 5 I had to drive about 250 miles away but it was worth it.  Honda and Acura will last a long time with good maintenance 70-80,000 is not bad for a 90's model Watch out for branded, rebuilt, and salvage titles they lead to trouble.
