  1. Not an expert here, but it is not the vehicle per say, rather its exhaust system.  Using dual exhaust with less restrictive mufflers (as compared to stock ones) would create that effect.  If done properly, you would also increase your mileage and the life of the engine (easier for it to get rid of exhaust).  Anything that allows the engine to breath with less restriction will give it a deeper sound.....hope that makes some sense.

  2. it's not the car it's the parts. you can do this with a regular car. I have an 08 honda civic si. I was able to produce a deeper sound than an evo or STi and get alot of hp by first changing the headers, the the exhaust system, and finally putting in a complete cold air intake.

  3. Agree. you can make any car louder/deeper tone. I have a 99  mustang GT with xpipe no cats, flowmasters, and  shorty headers.... BAROOOM she turns heads all the time.

  4. There is nothing like an American V8 with a 3/4 cam and 2.5 inch exhaust pumping thru Flowmasters.

I really do not care about the high horse European toys, when compared to American old school iron.

There is nothing else in the world that sounds like a Ford 429 Shotgun engine. ( even though that was a bit larger than 2.5 ).
