Can anyone point to any reports or links that confirm casulaties on all sides?

There were reports of 1500 /2000 deaths at the time - but I haven't seen any journalists who are able to confirm this. Has this whole thing been subject to exageration?

Your links and knowledge appreciated.

  1. no journalists can confirm it, that's why you cant find it.

  2. The victims are the people of the world . For the evil ones are trying to start world war 3 .

  3. I know what you mean and have thought of this myself.I think the only way to find out the truth about whats going on in Georgia is to contact someone in georgia who knows whats really going on. Hopefully we are not going to find mass graves from ethnic cleansing in the future ,but the reports off militia in the town of gobi  and the lawlessness suggests otherwise.

  4. The situation in Georigia right now is best described as chaotic.  We may never know the truth about how many people were killed and wounded by both sides.

One thing I did hear, which really made me pay attention, was on journalist [cannot remember who] saying something on-camera to the effect that the Russian soldiers are looking for Georgians.

Mark you, not looking for Georgian soldiers, but looking for Georgians.

Look, I don't want to scare you right.  But this Russian Army is the same army [historically anyway] which rampaged through Eastern Europe in 1945 and in East Germany alone, raped an estimated 2-million german women and girls [some of them children].

I hope none of the last paragraph has happened in Georgia but I fear that I may have.
