What catfish swim in the middle and top parts of the aquarium ?

this does not really answer what to get but i have 5 cory doras, a upside down catfish a sailfin catfish and a eel catfish and they all swim at the bottom of the tank so i personaly would not suggest any of these.

Upside Down Cats, Glass Cats, Pygmy Cory Cats, and some of the smaller suckermouths like Otos will swim all over the tank, but rarely go all the way to the surface without a LOT of cover.

Try the Upside-Down catfish, Synodontis nigriventris. They swim at all levels and have an unusual habit- see if you can guess what it is! They aren't too hard to find either.
