Question:

What cause browning leaves on dwarf buford holly?

I planted 6 dwarf bufords in spring and they seemed to have been growing just fine until the last week or so, I have noticed that there are an increasing amount of leaves that are turning brown and falling off. This is not happening to all of the plants but only three of them (it started on two) I have not noticed any type of spore or bug and there is no tea scale on the underside. Does all this mean that I have not watered them enough? Or is it just to hot this summer? I do not know what zone I am in but I do live in North Texas (Sherman)...Some one please help. I have never been good at planting in the ground, and I thought I had it right.....:(
