  1. Hi. Just a thought. You may want to get tested for diabetes, just in case. You mentioned that you are tired and thirsty often. Weight gain and/ or loss is not always prevalent in borderline diabetic individuals. Also, just know that fruit is very good for you but very high in natural sugars, too. If your blood sugar is constantly elevated and then dropping (erratic), that would certainly account for the sporadic energy bursts coupled with overall tiredness and shakiness/ disorientation. If it is diabetes, you would probably have a good chance managing it well, if it's only borderline and if your are organized in doing so.

Another thought. Are you under a lot of stress, getting little sleep, and having a lot of caffeine? These could be other contributing factors to fatigue and disorientation.

Hopefully, it's nothing major, but get it checked out just in case. Good luck and I hope it all turns out alright for you.

  2. well there is a person in my class who has the same shaky hand and no engery but of course he does have a mental problem...i think you might not get enough rest.. there was this one time my hands were shaky sometimes only because i was playing the piano to much.. maybe you're using them overactively.. as for the energy i think you should take some more sugar other than natural sugars and drink some caffeine.. not to much.. like a small spruce of coffee..if you really want to go see the doctor,, and if you're granpa had diabetes you may have a chance of getting it

  3. Maybe you are not eating enough calories for your size/build and have low blood sugar.

I highly suggest you go to the doctors and have a physical and blood workup  - you dont want to have serious problems later in life

you may also have a vitamin deficiency.

  4. Diabetes is hereditary. Continuing drops in weight, shaky hands, appetite loss, are all signs of the onset of type I diabetes, my stepfather had this. Get thee to a doctor soon, and don't take advice from YA.
