  1. could be an allergy

  2. It is a mild allergic reaction often cause be eating something acidity (tomatoes, citric fruit) or spicy.  It can also be caused by "bumping" the inside of your mouth.  For example, if you bite down on something hard or firm.

  3. On the roof of your mouth?  My first thought is allergies, my second thought would be that you injured your roof.

If you're really concerned, it lasts for a while, it starts hurting, or you have trouble eating/talking/whatnot, then go see a doctor.  If it heals on its own, I think you'll be fine.

  4. well you should be going to a doctor instead of asking online =/
