The majority were never in favor of him and his policies.  It was one thing during the primaries when the polls took into account only Democratic voters, but when you ask independents and republicans you find many people just don't agree with him.

For example, he wants to raise the corporate tax rate.  We have the second highest corporate tax rate in the world and it's already causing companies to move overseas. Raising it will only send more companies and capital away and lose more American jobs.

As it gets closer to the election people are starting to come to their senses and actually understand what Obama intends to do to us, and it aint pretty!

Because he's being listened to a lot more and people are seeing how inexperienced he really is and he also keeps contradicting his self. I mean if your gonna run for president you need to know what your talking about!  My opinion of both candidates has gone down!

If Obama's rating is down it would come as no surprise to the rest of the world.  This comes from a country who voted Bush in twice, it is unbelievable.  It simply comes down to marketing, and the republicans are better at it.  They should be, actually, as they are controlled by corporations.  But it also comes down to the gullibility of voters who can't see past names and flag pins and who insist upon believing innuendo.  It is a bit like religion:  you go with the family choice and run down the others even though you don't know much about them.  Sad.
