  1. Climate change!  The Ice Age ended.

And there wasn't an SUV in the entire world.

  2. Theories  I have heard on the subject are climate change (due to the end of the Ice Age), over hunting by humans and one interesting one about a meteor hit in northeastern north America.   This last one is mostly supported by finding evidence of superheated metal fragments embedded in the tusks of a large portion of the mammoth tusks in North America from one period of time.  Personally I believe that all three put stresses on the population of these creatures eventually leading to their demise.

  3. it is the ice age when mostly of them died but the ones who were left were hunted unendlessly by the indians of N. america

  4. ummm I thought that was obvious hellooo it was obiously chuck norris

  5. Ice melted

    Over-hunted

Replaced by other, better adapted, species

Most Camels crossed the ice bridge and the ones that were left died out.

  6. It was a combination of things, viruses, hunting, and the ice age. All were contributing factors

  7. The ic emelted, and they could not surive.

  8. No one's really sure.  It isn't clear that they all became extinct at the same time, either.  But climate change and overhunting from humans are the most common ideas; at present, there really isn't enough information to distinguish between them.

  9. ice age and over hunting were the key factors food ran out for predators and they died
