lots of things can cause this although usually it's from eating something it shouldn't have. if it's drinking plenty of liquids, eating ok, & acting fine you prolly don't have much to worry about. it should ease up rather quickly.

if it starts acting out of character (e.g. sleeping more than usual, hiding, acting lethargic, etc), having accidents outside of the litter box, is not eating or getting enough liquids then you should call the vet right away.

If you feed it cows milk then that gives some cats diarrhoea especially kittens

if you have changed food drastically or if there is a chance your cat has worms either one of these two things could be the reason...if it is worms he needs to go to the vet to be de-wormed that will be the only thing that will work if he has an upset tummy due to food change you can give him a teaspoon of Kaopectate twice a day (every 12 hours) do NOT give Pepto Bismol or any other stomach medicine this is the only one that is safe to give cats: Kaopectate...also make sure he is drinking plenty you dont want him to get dehydrated
