What causes a warped guitar neck?

Question

i wanna know common causes and ways to avoid it. and was wondering if there is more of a chance of a bolt on neck design to get a warped neck than a neck thru body design?

Warping is characteristic of wood.  The best thing you can do is keep it in a case when not in use.  Neck-through design is superior, but wood will warp.  Sorry.
