Animal waste causes air pollution through the release of methane into the atmosphere, there are methane vents in the ocean that also release into the water and atmosphere. During the hydrological cycle pollutants are brought up into the atmosphere from lakes, ponds, oceans and at times can cause acid rain. Unfortunately nearly every environmental issue is man made.
