Could be an internal problem.  If possible, call the store you bought it from.  Many stores have techs that will come look at it and make sure it is up to mfg. spec. (ie. repair or replace).  

If it is not internal, and you have a metal bed frame, the boxspring may have a slight gap in spots above the frame, when weight is applied the  noise is created. put some sort of padding between frame and mattress.

Another source of noise I have run into is a wood footboard/headboard on wood floor.  The flex in the bed frame allows a slight movement between the legs and the floor.  Put felt under all the legs, problem solved.
