  1. One of the more likely reasons for high PCV is dehydration. Small breeds especially are prone to dehydrate easily.The normal blood glucose for dogs is 123 with a range of 112-143 mg/100mL . For cats the values are higher ~ 215 mg/100 mL with a range 182-237.
