What causes long-term hearing damage/loss? ?

alright.. so what I'm trying to ask is how does the loud music and concerts and subway screeches add up to hearing loss? what inside your ear is damaged or broken that leads to lossage?

Long term loud causes long term loss. I wear hearing aids in both ears because of it.

there are little tiny hairs in your ears that pick up sound waves... with loud music and screeches those hairs can be lost causing u to have losage of hearing
