I recently had a turkey sandwhich made from turkey that was on sale. I am suspecting that the store purposely put it on sale because it was going bad. It says sell by July 31st, but is it possible the meat has already spoiled? Are there any other possible reasons for this bad taste?

  1. i've actually had some turkey in the fridge that had been sitting for a while after it had been opeend.   It did smell bad.  I tossed it because your nose should know if something is bad.  It's not worth the risk to me.

  2. Id say the store needs to give you your money back. If meat smells bad its bad.
