  1. Flies lay their eggs and then the eggs evolve into maggots.

  2. rotten food...i thought...but the cleaning and laundry thing kinda threw me off my mom said flies like to lay their eggs in rotten or rotting food so they'll have nutrients

  3. Rotten food or something dead

  4. It is a soft-bodied, legless larva of certain flies and to get rid of them you must get rid of whatever it is they laid their eggs in and yes ... it is generally rotting food, vegetables or fruit.  Then clean the surface well with a bleach based product if it's on a hard surface that won't be affected by the bleach.  I left tomatoes out a long time ago when I went on vacation and came home to a mass of disgusting maggots.  I learned my lesson and fast!

  5. Adult flies lay their eggs on rotten food, dead animals, or other things, depending on the species. I had them, and they were awful. Almost nothing kills them. Boiling water works well. You have to get to the source and take out that immediately. Then I would suggest cleaning everywhere. Good Luck!
