I recently was out throwing a baseball for 20 minutes and totally ran out of energy to the point where I was shaky and practically wanted to lie down. I had a banana right away which did the trick, but I am wondering what the cause of this is? This usually only happens to be on long runs of 10 miles or more.
I assume it has to do with the food I ate for lunch which was a lot of pasta, but I figured if anything, pasta gives you the calories to keep going.
What is the cause of this?
