  1. Industrial emissions and automobile exhaust.

China is moving to a very industrialized country very quickly. There is demand for goods and little restriction on pollution. This means that China's industries grow very fast, but so does their pollution problem.

Hopefully China and the world can realize a better fuel source than coal and oil. And soon!

  2. Basically concentrating almost all the world's manufacturing into a single country. Media = bs.

  3. A few points why China is worse then other places:

It has way more industry then other countries

That industries have a high energy demand

Chinese mainly generates electricity by coal

Chinese uses lower quality high sulfur coal

Sulfur in the air generates acid rain

Acid rain damages trees and plants

    Lack of plants cause erosion

Winds can carry sand a few 1000Km (even to Korea)

    Too many cars

To many old diesel trucks that pollute

    High sulfur diesel

Lack of any car emission standard

    Dust pollution from construction sites

  4. Well it's because have many factories in China and you know it already I'm sure you watching the news.

the thing is China just open there country to the world. it's not only in China that have a pollution. why don't you ask USA there country is open to the world for long long long long years but they haven't sign the climate change yet. that's why they have bad air quality there and they have many calamities there this year also. not only in China you can find pollution.

sometimes you need to clean first your own country before you mind the other country.

  5. pollution can be in the forms of many things.

in the streets and alleyways.....well people just generally don't care and throws trash everywhere. I saw somebody actually sneezed out their snot in the middle of broad daylight on a public street.

if you were talking about the smog and the air, then it could be the regulation as well.

If you think with that big of a population, there's bound to be bad air and fumes from all them factories and cars and stuff..and i don't think they're big on environment regulations.

And with your question, advanced countries probably have better preventions when it comes to dealing with pollution and stuff.

  6. well not to be racist or anything but a lot of chinese ppl can be gross and rude

alsso like many parts all over the world which i think is a really bad issue is that a lot of ppl there smoke

also since the higher the population the higher things u get like pollution for example

and this is not the cleanest place and dont hav a lot of the best quality of things which tends to cause more pollution

  7. Come on, boy, do you still believe we Chinese live in Qing danasty or 1960s?

Pollution? I don't feel. I live in Changchun China.

Last year, I went to Beijing. I don't think Beijing Is polluted so much.

And I have seen many reports about Chinese pollution, I just want to say:" Maybe some TVs and web sites lie a lot. If you want to know the real environment condition in China, come here with your own eyes plz."

  8. To FLY, I stayed in a city in Hebei for  2 months.  The first 2 weeks,  I had a bad case of bodily adjustments. My nostrils were itchy and actually achy, I coughed incessantly, I felt terrible, sometimes my sputum was reddish or brownish, I'm not sure anymore.  I learned that pollution in that city is bad because of coal mining nearby. After the2 weeks, my body adjusted.  I did not really feel the foul air anymore.

What I mean to say is, maybe that is the same case with you?  You've gotten so used with this latent pollution, you don't notice it and so you don't believe it exists.  Believe me,  I felt it so much when I was there. And to think that I love China for other memories except the pollution....

  9. Too many cars, industrial companies

    .....

  10. Any country in the world now is polluted, in many forms and ways, in varying degree, cause by human activity.
