  1. a person dont realize how many times the pressure gets used, everytime you push the clutch pedal in and sooner or later the springs on the pressure plate gets weak.

  2. Abuse. Mis-aligned parts. Bad fasteners. Worn bearings. Creatively swapping components. Uneven flywheel. Mis adjustment, or, leaking  master-slave cylanders. The list goes on.

  3. Inferior quality clutch, not replacing with a clutch kit, not replacing pilot bearing, not resurfacing the flywheel, not knowing how to drive a manual, riding the clutch, quick take offs, racing around etc...

  4. riding with your foot on the pedal or not using the clutch right will.... doing fast take off down shifting... holding the pedal at half way at red lights or on hills... and letting off the pedal to slow will also

  5. Bad adjustment, bad throwout bearing or pilot bearing.Riding the clutch will kill one in a hurry too.Overloading the weight limit, hills, engine mods will also contribute.
