  1. this is probably in the wrong section.. as you're probably referring to a stroke like a heart attack. several factors go into what can cause a stroke: high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking in particular is a big factor, drinking, high sugar levels, thick blood, low oxygen levels.. etc.

    just eat healthily - lots of dark green veggies!, say no to sodium/salt and glucose/sugar, etc etc.


  2. strokes happen when blood is blocked in the arteries by cholesterol or when the artery bursts and blood cannot get to the brain. if blood does not get to the brain, brain cells die and lead to brain damage or vegetable states. cholesterol clogs the arteries which our body makes and from foods. so limit foods with too much cholesterol. an artery would burst when blood pressure is too high. salt raises the pressure so limit foods with too much salt. of course when you get mad, blood pumps fast too.
