just curious....it seems unlikely that their wings would be moving fast enough to make a noise like that, but i could be wrong!

  1. their wings from moving so fast

  2. Well their wings move very fastly and that makes the buzzing

  3. rudimentary hind  wings.

  4. Its there very tiny little wings they flap their wings really faster

The frequency of a mosquito wing is about 600 times per second. Frequency is the number of cycles of a repeating process per unit time. same is for house fly

  5. The buzzing you hear is actually the the wings flying by at a high frequency.

A practical explanation would be to take a ruler 1' or 30 cm and hold it tightly with your palm, with the 5 cm (or 2") mark touching the edge.. and 'strumming' it... compared to the ruler at 25 cm or approx 11"... and you'll find it's the same way as a mosquito (with even SMALLER wings than the ruler!) :D  flies by, making a high pitched noise. :)

  6. I'm pretty sure that the rapid beating of thier wings makes the buzzing sound.

  7. The vibration of their wings.

  8. Actually, it is there wings. They flap at rapid speeds that make that noise.

    Hoped i helped.

    ;)

  9. well... unlikely as you may think it to be, its true, a hummingbirds wings beat hundreds of times per second

  10. The noise is from the buzz maker strapped to their backs....ibuzz made by Mac
