  1. You may need a front end alignment. There are motor mounts that may be loose as well.

  2. It sounds like a wheel is unbalanced especially if it is not all of the time and occurs at 35-40.  If it was all of the time I would think it is a wheel not properly positioned on the axle or a bent wheel or a shock absorber. The air pressure may also be a huge part of the left turn and shaking too! Maybe after I re-read your question it may be a combination of ALL of them.

Take your car for a "free inspection" by a qualified mechanic and ask for a price quote.

  3. Good answers by all of the above.  I believe the "when you turn left" is the key.  I suspect a bad CV joint.  CV stands for Constant Velocity.  Link below explains the workings of a CV joint better than I am able.

  4. tracking or one wheel isnt as pumped as the other. seems stupid but its true.

  5. Tires, rims, alignment, front-end and so on, take it to a shop and let them check it out.

  6. check your tires!!! or its your tire rod left side.

  7. Since you only said "the vehicle", and that can be anything from an old style VW bug to a Chevrolet 3500 HD, I can only be general with the answer.  Something in a wheel or in the drive train is not in balance.  Since it also has a problem in a left turn, I would suspect a front tire problem, perhaps a CV joint going bad, perhaps a bearing.  But it *could* be dangerous.  You don't want to be going 65 down the road and have your left front tire fall off, so have your mechanic evaluate it soon.
