What causes this "ghost" acccount on xp?

Whenever I try to load the guest account it acts as if the one that is there is not there and loads an original configuration for the guest account. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Hello,

The point of having a guest account is to keep the account clear of any settings when the person logs in. If a guest wants to use your computer, they can use the account, and any thing they store or save (for example passwords) is deleted when someone else logs into that account.

If you want to save your settings, you might want to get a normal account instead.
