  1. It can be caught from dirty bottles or sippy cups that the spouts and insides aren't truly clean. As PP said, it's a yeast infection, and can be caught by sticking hands in dirty diaper and putting fingers in mouth, as well as various other manners.

  2. this can be from poor hygiene, perhaps ur toddler touched his nappy or his bottom, ensure that u wash ur hands and his hands thoroughly before and after changing nappies, preparing food etc as bacteria can pass onto different surfaces really quickly and begin multipying.

  3. it is a yeast infection in the mouth....mine got it because of breastfeeding in the beginning. If you are breastfeeding make sure you always clean your nipple off before feeding baby. The only way to get rid of it is by a prescription med from your pediatrican. Good luck hope this helped

  4. Yeast infection as noted above.

My son had a really tough case early in his life.  The topical medicine didn't work, we had to use the oral suspension liquid.

Be sure to be very thorough when cleaning anything that goes into the mouth.  If you have a steamer, that will help.
