Just bought a truck, the front end was noisy so they replaced the link-bars and the left tie-rod. All was covered by remaining factory warranty, but what caused the parts to go bad?

  1. They are only damaged from hitting something, usually from sliding into a curb with the wheel turned.  Strange they covered it under warranty.  I guess that's not a bad thing though.

  2. mileage and wear and tear.

  3. Wear and tear.
