What causes you to get a stye in your eye??

I have been getting styes quite frequently, what could be causing this?? And how can i prevent from getting styes??

A sty is an infection, or inflammation in the eyelid due to blocked glands within the eyelid.  Their is numerous ways to treat them i would list them but it would probably be easier if i give you a link so here's a website with a ton of info on sty's:
