Question:

What causes your brain to feel like it is "bouncing" when a noise happens?

I have had this problem several times, and it eventually goes away but seems to always return weeks/months later. I want to find out what it is and get rid of it, and didn't know if anyone else has experienced this. I have a problem where small noises (such as a piece of silverware hitting my plate, or someone knocking on the door) will cause my brain to feel like it jumps a little bit in my head with the noise. I know that isn't what is happening, but it feels like my head kind of jolts with the noise. It only happens when the noise happens, and then stops. Talking and listening can also make this happen. I hate the sensation and would love to see it gone. I didn't know if this was maybe an arterial problem, or spinal problem? Anyone have any idea? Any information or help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. have you talked to a neurologist , i have mild seizures and this used to happen to me before i was put on meds, used to drive me nuts, also really loud noises made my brain feel like it crawed back and forth and tingled and i got a bad headache after-wards.  would not hurt to call for a apt and sit and talk and find out if this would be the problem after all,  i delt with this til i was 42 and had my first grand mil then they found out what my problem was all my life.
