What causes your eye to twitch?

My 4 year old daughter has been having issues with her left eye twitching and occasionally the right. Its not a bad twitch, but its noticeable. Should I be concerned about this or will it be something that goes away with time?

It's an involuntary muscle spasm.

Get her checked out by a doctor.  Sometimes it goes away, but better safe than sorry.  Make sure it's not a problem.

i get it wen im very tired

but my best friend has an acctualy eye twitch which occurs when she focuses on something like day dreams

maybe see ad octor if your worried but i think its just lack of sleep zx

please help me , its easy and i really need advice

Muscle twitches and cramps are a sign of possible magnesium deficiency. Does she get leg cramps sometimes?

I suggest a magnesium supplement.

Magnesium is high in green leafy vegetables. Here are a few ideas to help children enjoy greens.

Give them a little at a time, to allow their tate buds to adjust.

Broccoli florets( raw), with a dip like yoghurt, hummus or salsa.

Vegetable pieces dipped in peaflour batter and fried. My kids love these. Add some spices and natural salt to their taste.The pea flour has the added benefit of providing protein.

In a juicer or blender add green vegetables such as capsicum to the sweeter fruit juices.

Give barley grass or spirulina in drinks or smoothies.

Other food sources of magnesium are whole grains, nuts and seeds.

I think it has somethin to do with the blood going through the blood vessels in your eyes, but i would still get that checked out, as a precatuion. I dont think its that serious, tho.

Sometimes my eye twitches when I stare at something to long like the computer or t.v. Just let it be unless its been twitching for over a day.
