What causing this problem? My bike chain keeps locking up and sometimes makes a clicking sound any ideas?

tight link in the chain,wiggle each link until you find it,Can be eased using a chain link remover.which pushes the rivet out to remove the chain ,Just push the rivet gently to loosen the tight link.

If it happens just after, or a little while after you've changed gears, then that's probably whats going on. My bike used to do it (before it got stolen out of my back garden... grr)

If not, then I doubt it's anything to worry about, have a look at it.

Sounds like the gears need adjusting, the chain needs cleaning and lube.
