What cell phone gets best signal?

i live in the country and have at&t as provider. i am eligible for an up grade but want to now which phone is known for best signal. i dont use all the fancy internet features and just want a simple phone with good signal reception.

I personally prefer Samsung and never have an issue with getting a signal.  I would discourage you from getting a Motorola since all I've had with their phones is dropped calls and broken phones.  I work in the country and never have a problem with my Samsung phone.  There are various models available and they are relatively durable.  I have the Samsung slider, but I would not recommend this phone to you as it is really for internet use and may get damaged.

All but two of my phones over the years have been Samsung and the only ones I had issue with were the none Samsung.
