  1. My friend turned 18 in march she has no credit and went with verizon. I say if this is your first time then you should pick wisely. You don't want to invest in a 2 year contract and HATE your service. I have verizon I love verizon and i will never switch. I never get dropped calls. My bill is always correct every month. I can do everything online. (Example : Adding or removing feature from my phone, changing my plan , I can also talk to a representative from verizon. and alot more) I would suggest going with verizon all the other might be cheaper but there cheaper for a reason. Also my boyfriend had T-mobile In the begging of our relationship and we constantly got dropped calls. So he ended up switching to verizon after his plan was up. But you can get your own line with no credit at verizon all you have to do is put a 100 dollar deposit in. Thats considerably low, because you can get a Voyager which only $99. Right now, and with verizon every 2 year you get a 100 dollar rebate on your next verizon phone. =] Which is amazing, because you can get the hottest new phone out there for 100 dollar cheaper but always check online first because they may have better deals then they would at the store. But there a activation fee at verizon once you activate your phone its 25 dollars. And if you get the phone at the store you won't get instant rebate so you would have to pay full retail price and then send in your rebate. plus your 100 dollar deposit. Hoped that helped you and email if you have any more question!

  2. If you haven't established any credit yet, then I wouldn't go with either of these since they will most likely require a deposit to start service if at all! I would go with T-Mobile since they are the lowest cost and the most beginner friendly as far as credit goes. Even if you have to get a prepaid plan, it will cost you less with T-Mobile than with anyone else and T-Mobile will be the easiest to convert a prepaid plan to a regular plan once you establish some credit with them after they get to know you.

This is a good way to establish credit, which you will need eventually anyway! Good luck!
