I am moving to Denmark for two years, and currently have a Sprint phone. I don't know if I should get an international phone through Sprint, or if I should wait until I get to Denmark and just get a cell phone there. Help!

  1. Sonofon or Telia are the best..

  2. VOdafone networt is good ...anywhere in europe works.....u have to buy a fone that is openline so any sim will do even u go abroad. Some fones are lock to a specific networt/sim. thats why it doesnot work.

  3. Wait until you get to Denmark and get a phone there because Sprint doesn't offer GSM and most of the phone services in Europe are GSM. Also in Europe, the phones operate at different frequencies :GSM-900 and GSM-1800 and if you buy a phone in the States that is Tri-band or a "World Phone" they are usually missing one of the european frequencies (it has two american frequencies and one european one). What you can do is buy a GSM unlocked quad band phone which has all the american frequencies and all the european frequencies (850/900/1800/1900) like Nokia E51. You can buy this in the states for a reasonable price and by having it unlocked you can use any operator of your choice so you can then just buy a sim card when you get to Denmark and start calling right away. The operators they have there are Sonofon, TDC Mobil and Telia.
