  1. Are you asking when did your country declare it illegal? For example, when it became a law? or are you asking when did it become considered to be morally wrong?

I don't know about the law in your country, but I do know that the Bible calls it a sin somewhere back in Exodus which was written about 1400 BC. If you aren't talking about that, then I don't know.

The word 'incest' was introduced into Middle English around 1225 as a legal term to describe the crime of familial incest as we know it today.

I would say, since biblical days. Check out the Old Testament book Leviticus, Chapter 18, verses 6-30.

      Some examples:

6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

    Incest Law & Legal Definition

Laws vary by state, but generally, a person commits incest if he marries or engages in sexual intercourse with a person he knows to be, either legitimately or illegitimately:

    1.  His ancestor or descendant by blood or adoption; or

    2. His brother or sister of the whole or half-blood or by adoption; or

3.His stepchild or stepparent, while the marriage creating the relationship exists; or

4.His aunt, uncle, nephew or niece of the whole or half-blood.

In some states incest also includes copulation or cohabitation between first cousins, but the majority of jurisdictions permit marriage between such cousins. Incest is a crime in ALL states, even if consensual by both parties. However, it is often related to sexual abuse since usually the younger person is a victim of the predatory sexual activities of an older relative. Statutes generally do not require the perpetrator to be a certain number of years older than the victim. Victims of incest and sexual abuse are strongly encouraged to talk to an adult they trust to protect themselves and others from further abuse and take advantage of the many resources available to help them heal.

Laws vary by state, but the following is an example of a state law dealing with aggravated incest:

      Aggravated incest is:

(#) Marriage to a person who is under 18 years of age and who is known to the offender to be related to the offender as any of the following biological, step or adoptive relatives: Child, grandchild of any degree, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece; or

    1. Otherwise lawful sexual intercourse or sodomy (**)

2(.#) any lewd fondling with a person who is 16 or more years of age but under 18 years of age and who is known to the offender to be related to the offender as any of the following biological, step or adoptive relatives: Child, grandchild of any degree, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece.

    3. Aggravated incest is a severity level 5, person felony.(**)  or

severity level 7, person felony (#)

(If this has happened to you or someone you know, PLEASE report it to the proper authorities. Don't let the scumbag get away with it)
