  1. You need a teaching certificate with a physical education endorsement. Meaning you just take several extra classes in addition to your regular teaching program. Some states make you take a test in your endorsement focus.

  2. A Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education wfrom an accredited university

  3. In the district where I teach you would need your permanent certification.  You can start with a provisional cert., but you'd need to finish your permanent within two years.

  4. It will depend on your state requirements, so you will want to contact your department of education.  Generally speaking, you will need a bachelor's degree in physical education.

  5. Check with your states Department of Education. Certification varies greatly from state to state - so they will have your answers.

  6. What country are you in?

    What state?

  7. To teach p.e. as a discrete subject (as in, teaching p.e. is your only job) then you generally need a certificate or license specifically to teach Physical Education.  But, if you are a general classroom teacher planning to take your students outside or to the gym and teach p.e. as part of their general education, then a general classroom teaching certificate/license is all that is required in my state.
