You must be specific. No campaign rhetoric. Tell us, dazzle us, exactly what changes he will make if elected. He is running on the basis of "change" but never says what he plans to change.

Help me out here.

  1. Establish a health care program that anyone can enter.

Cut taxes for the middle class

    Get us out of Iraq

Bring the war on terrorism to the terrorists without massive distractions.

Bring government revenue up and government spending down.

Close the capital gains loophole that allows Billionaires to be taxed at a lower rate than a person who makes 20,000

    and many other things.

It takes time to list things. Wait for the last posters, they are the serious ones.

  2. He wants to beat Clinton's historic tax increase, the largest at one time in the history of this country.

  3. he says what he wants to change in most of his speeches and on his website http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

if mccain said he wants change,i would vote for him,but he doesnt. he wants to continue privatized healthcare,he wants us to continue our police force in iraq,he wants to destroy the anwr, and he wants to continue the tax cuts for the wealthy.

  4. fundamental changes in how the government is run--

    in just about every aspect.

    go to:  www.barackobama.com

for instance; community service for h.s. kids guarantees (exchange) $4,000 for college....and lots more.

    see website.

  5. The same thing that has changed the last 30 years, that is if you go by what he said last week. You know he will change a lot, that's why he picked someone that has been in Washington for over 30 years.

  6. I believe the change he is talking about is the change from within...Any politician can come into office, and make things happen... I think the presidency is like a game of cards.... Sometimes you get a good hand, and sometimes you get a bad hand... But you make the most out of the hand you're dealt... But back to Obama, everybody knows the big deal with Obama is he's black... Point blank period... Nobody really cares, about anything else... People might say they do, but they don't... Most black people are probably voting for the 1st time in their life... But I think if America can elect a black president a lot of change will come from individuals and their perspective on things... Not so much the changes Obama will make, but the change he inauguration will make

  7. For his impoverished brother in Kenya:  hopefully at least some spare change, a few quarters maybe, which would essentially be a years wage for him.

For the rest of us, we will be healed.   Our hearts and minds will become one and a new heaven will be usherd down upon the earth.  As we gather as one race and chant "O-BA-MA!  O-BA-MA!"  we will feel the tingles crawl up our legs and enter into orgasmic bliss as we become one with the universe.

Now for the reality:  nothing but more taxes and ruined hope for idiot youth who got too carried away and bowed in worship to a false messiah.

  8. Just Change.

  9. He will change how much money will all take home from more to less through tax hikes. He will change what we pay at the pump by increasing the tax on already high gas thus changing inflation from high to astronomical and changing our economic status from recession to depression.

  10. Well he keeps changing his position of every issue he's asked about...is that change enough for you?

  11. We will become more segregated, racially divided & overly-sensitive than we have ever been as a country!

In the office as President of The United States of America mistakes are inevitable ...and every criticism of this man (legitimate or otherwise) will be construed as Racism!

    We don't need that!

  12. He'll change our country to a socialist state laying the ground work to become a totally Marxist state.

  13. Saying one will make changes which won't pass Congress, is a standard political ploy. I am surprised Obama doesn't make even more use of it. Regards, Larry.

  14. He lists in this speech exactly what he intends to do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ato7BtisX...

I suggest you watch the entire thing before you say he never talks about what he plans to change.

  15. He outline about 20 in his convention speech.  Check it out on youtube.  I have no intention of writing them out!

  16. he'll raise the minimum wage, give us universal healthcare, give the middle class and below a tax break, end the war in Iraq. There you go.

  17. He will drill offshore and cause a lot of oil spills. He'll bomb Iran. He'll build super forts in Iraq and he'll start advertising in 3rd world countries for soldiers. He'll go kill Osama. He'll change the name of the White House to the Black House. He'll institute Islam as the nation's religion. He'll take everything away that you love. And he'll probably imprison all white people in concentration camps.

  18. O'Bama has no experience running anything, he can't even control his wife, he is a good speaker is all that he has going for himself, there isn't enough money in the goverment to make the changes he says he will make at the democratic convention, he is just another lying politician and on top of that he is a Muslim, I can't say anything good about McCain either as he is a Bush wanna bee.

  19. First thing is painting the White House... Black with bright yellow trim

  20. He explained everything that he was going to change in a 45 minute speech the other day.

  21. Personally all I heard was a bunch of word that just didn't explain what he really meant.   All I see are a lot problems that we don't need.

  22. None. He is a great sloganeer who picked up the word ' change ' which his leftist support greatly approved.  There is a good orator who , so far, hasn't understood the adage " Actions speak louder than words."

  23. Obama's Economic Plans:

Jumpstart the Economy - Provide Additional Tax Rebates to American Workers, Establish a $10 billion Foreclosure Prevention Fund, Provide $10 billion in Relief for State and Local Governments Hardest-Hit by the Housing Crisis to Prevent Cuts in Vital Services, Extend and Expand Unemployment Insurance.

Provide Middle Class Americans Tax Relief (these are a huge plus for me - a big reason why he has my vote) -

Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families, Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000, Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans.  All the specifics can be found on his website..http://www.barackobama.com/issues/econom...

He also discusses how he will create new jobs and give tax relief to small businesses.  Thyere is so much more to it...I cannot possibly list it all....

Another big reason I am voting for Obama are his Healthcare plans:

Obama's complete Overhaul/Change of the current Healthcare System:

Quality, Affordable and Portable Coverage for All -- it includes:

Obama's Plan to Cover Uninsured Americans, National Health Insurance Exchange, Employer Contribution, Support for Small Businesses, Mandatory Coverage of Children, Expansion Of Medicaid and SCHIP, and Flexibility for State Plans.

Lower Costs by Modernizing The U.S. Health Care System -- it includes:

Reducing Costs of Catastrophic Illnesses for Employers and Their Employees, Helping Patients in various ways, Ensuring Providers Deliver Quality Care, Lowering Costs Through Investment in Electronic Health Information Technology Systems, and Lowering Costs by Increasing Competition in the Insurance and Drug Markets.

Fight for New Initiatives -- this includes:

Advance the Biomedical Research Field, Fight AIDS Worldwide, Support Americans with Disabilities, Improve Mental Health Care, Protect Our Children from Lead Poisoning, Reduce Risks of Mercury Pollution, Support Americans with Autism.

The specifics on all of these points can be found on his website, http://www.barackobama.com/issues/health...  I cannot POSSIBLY explain them all on here.

Obama's website and his recent DNC speech as well as past speeches that can be found on Youtube are good places to look for his plans and policies.  Also, this Washington Post article does a good job of showing the differences in Obama's and McCain's tax plans: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con...

Basically...everyone needs to do their own homework...it is easy to find this info online.  His plans are completely laid out.  In his recent DNC speech he said that one way his plans will be funded is through closing up tax loopholes (which will free up TONS of money to actually be used for the average American instead of helping the richest of Americans!)  I can't remember offhand the other way (and honestly I don't feel like looking it up when people are perfectly capable of doing it themselves if they really wanted to know and not be ignorant).

If you care about people's policies...READ ABOUT THEM.

As for Congress...that's why we have seperate elections for them!  You can't NOT vote someone that you feel is qualified and has the best ideas for this country just because you are worried about other people that won't vote them in.  If Obama gets elected and America thinks his plans are great and yet Congress won't enact anything...that's when America needs to speak out and BLAST congress for their idiocracy.
