What changes have you made in your life to counter the horrible inflation?

1. Make multiple purposes if I do drive. One trip for all tasks needing to be done.

2. Carpool.

3. Got rid of celly.

4. Cancelled Full Coverage on vehicle and put only liability.

  1. I haven't made any major changes. Thankfully I've always lived within my means and am debt free.

    You have some great ideas listed. I do #1 also. I have stopped eating out as much. Not only because of the rising costs but to eat healthier as well.


  2. With exception of gas and some foods, prices are pretty steady.

    Carpool.  That helps a lot.

    Be careful with grocery purchase, eat less, buy more fresh foods, make smaller portions (many of us could do this).

  4. I use grade 87 gas instead of 89. I will be moving to a place that is $300 cheaper. When i go into the grocery store i don't buy name brand items. My salary has actually gone up so i'm really not hurting too much. I do those things to save more money.

  5. Oh god - nothing.  If anything else I went the other way on hols and blew way too much dosh.  Gotta have a very quiet summer - except I won't :(
