  1. The obvious ones are that tides would vanish and the earth would have little light.  Although we get some light from distant stars, it is minimal, at best, and that the moon influences tides greatly.  However, one little mentioned factor is that the moon keeps Earth on a steady rotation at 23.5 axis.  Without the moon, the impact of Theia would send the Earth spinning wildly.  This, in turn, would cause dramatic climate changes for seasons, from about what we have now, to completely unbearable.  If the moon was around after the impact of Theia, but vanished before civilization formed, we would also be in trouble today, as many ancient civilizations formed calenders based on "Moonths," a series of 29 days when the moon went through a whole cycle.  Imagine not knowing when you needed to plant or harvest your crops, and you try planting in winter (where most crops wouldn't grow), and trying to eat said produce in Spring, still overripe?

  2. 1. No more tides

    2. No more night illumination

    3. Other, more complicated factors I don't know of yet.

  3. It would be VERY dark during the night. No moon for a nightlight XD

  4. Dark nights, very dark. Booming business for thieves. lol

Surf ain't up dude. Surfing sucks. lol

    And much More......................?????????????

    Regards.

  5. The large tides caused by the Moon would end (with VERY serious repercussions to life).

Also, over the long term, it appears that the Moon keeps the Earth tilted in a stable way.

Without the Moon, over a LONG time, the Earth would wobble, with the poles tilting a long way towards the equator, and back again.

Life would face severe challenges in an environment that swings between polar freeze to tropic heat.

  6. the tides in the sea wouldn't happen.

  7. If I could snap my magic fingers, or wave my magic wand, and make the moon vanish, we would finally then feel the earth move. Right now the earth is turning and twisting (smoothly) with the moon as both go around the sun in lockstep. But now with the moon not there as its partner, the earth must adjust to its own orbit alone. I don't know exactly how it will shift, but I'm certain it would, if the moon disappeared.

  8. No one knows for sure

Sea levels could go up or down

High Tide and Low Tide and waves Definatly wont happen

Many things could happen, no one knows until the moon is gone haha
