What channels will I get with a tv tuner?

Im curious about getting a tv tuner for my computer. I have a brand new inspiron so I know I shouldnt have ne problems hooking a tuner up. Im stumped on how many channels I will recieve with an antena. We dont have cable jus bunny ears n we get 7 8 9 and 12. If I get a tuner for our computer will we get more channels?

Receivers vary in their sensitivitty. You might get more, you might get less. Generally, PC tuners are not as sensitive as TV tuners.

You're more likely to get more channels by trying different antennas. Don't let price be your determining factor. From reviews of indoor antennas I've read, performance varies all over the place, with some cheaper ones outperforming the expensive ones.
