  1. Neither is a Class C misdemeanor in California, because we don't "class" our misdemeanors.

    Disorderly conduct is normally a generic-type label for a number of other crimes (public intoxication being one of them).  Chances are pretty good that wherever you are, the two crimes you're asking about are very close in terms of punishment (if that's what you mean by "worse").


  2. They are both Class C Misdemenors. Different charges, same level. The fine amount depends on where your local jurisdiction.
