  1. Reunite - Lambrusco.

Great wine, and 12 bucks a gallon

  2. Any kind!

The only way to find out what wines you like is to try them... if you're having red, trying a Pinot Noir or a Shiraz... work your way up to Merlot and Cabernet.

Also, any wine labeled "Red Table Wine" may be a good start for trying reds.

For whites, I like Pinot Grigio.

  3. two buck chuck, sells for $2 in california, we pay $3 in New Mexico

  4. homemade welch's grape wine. I think it doesn't taste much different than, cheap wine. me 2$ bottle. you probably 4$ bottle

    real easy to make.

    Sugar

    2-liter bottle

    frozen concentrate juice.

    yeast

    balloon wit rubber band.

Even if you buy other wine it's still fun to make some in your leisure.

  5. I really like Yellow Tail Shiraz.

    It's only about $8/bottle

  6. I'm not a big fan of merlot or shiraz, but I LOVE pino noir.  I think it's a bit fruiter than most red wines and even the cheaper brands are pretty good.  Chianti is also good, although depending on the brand you might consider it strong.  Try going to a store or winery that offers tasting and trying a variety of wine before you buy anything.  It will give you an idea of what you prefer and it's also lots of fun!

  7. Don't be afraid to ask the guy at the wine store either, it's their job. Just tell him you're looking for something good in the $10 (or whatever) price range.

Don't be embarrassed, times are tough these days with gas, inflation, etc!
