  1. go for a walk/run in vondelpark

  2. There is a lot to just see.

As stated the Red Light District (while it`s still there), the Vondelpark, The City Center, Dam Square etc.

If you like (older) architecture - you are in the right place.

You do not give much by way of what you like - or your preferences - but you could consider renting a bike and go cycling through other parts of Amsterdam.

Drinks are cheaper at pubs not on the main squares (such as leidseplein, rembrandtsplein, max euweplein etc) but at those squares you do have a free view of a lot of people.

  3. Go to the red light district.  I hear it is something to see.

  4. hire a bike get drunk and ride around falling over your mates?.. at least thats what i did

  5. Rent a bike and see the city or beyond. It's a great way to get around and lots of fun. Amsterdam is a very bike friendly city.

For a  musical freebie, the church bells that play on different days of the week. Westertoren on Thrusdays and Zuiderkerk Fridays, Saturdays Oude Kerk. Sit at a nearby cafe, or bench and enjoy the music.

Vondlepark, Music in the Dam and Leidesplein. Musicians, some very good, play there regularly.

  6. Walking around the city-centre of Amsterdam and having a look at the architecture, people watching of course, listening to the city.
