  1. The links are to two sites that may help a bit.

I don't know anything about the projector you mention, and I have not bought a used projector myself, but if I did I'd want to know the following before buying:

In addition to details re specs (and I'd expect a reference to full specs on a suitable website)

    - Does it work?

    - Is the picture clear, even light level, any colour variation, any spots or marks?

    - How many hours on the lamp?

    - how it would be packed/shipped (if buying other than locally)?

    - return policy

If I had it and was testing (and I have no capacity to do actual measurements, but if I did I'd probably do so) I'd check:

    - overall cleanliness, physical state?

    - Is the filter clean?

    - does it power up?

    - how many hours on the lamp? (as reported by the projector)

    - can I focus it (this includes looking for shadows/misconvergence of the LCD panels, etc) and does the zoom work?

    - Is a blank white image evenly illuminated?

    - do I get even colour across the image?

    - do all the inputs work?

    - does the remote work?

I'm sure there are other things you can think of, but if a used projector passed these I think I'd accept it. Note I'd know ahead of time what to expect in terms of inputs, resolution, lens, etc.

    Hope this helps.
