  1. Glyphosate (Roundup) would be OK, but they have a new formulation that includes a "brush killer."  That's what I'd use.  Roundup by itsself is not totally trustworthy on woody plants with huge roots......like Siberian elms, etc.  

    Total plant killers may also destroy the soil for future planting or leach through the soil to kill other plants.  Roundup is safe...adding the brush killer adds a little caution, the other stuff, total plant eradication,  is best left totally alone, don't use it.  


  2. High Yield brand Kill Zall or glyphosate, glyphosate is the active ingredient in Roundup. Trust me It'll kill the plant. It should be very easy to find in any garden center, Wal-mart, Home Depot etc.

  3. have you tried clorox bleach or weed killer?
