What chemicals do i need for a saltwater aquarium?

i have a 55 gal saltwater aquarium i know i need a ph, nitrate,nitrite,and ammonia test kit but as far as the actual adjusters what do i need? is there a kit i can buy that has everything?

  2. Principally you need two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom - and you need enough of it to fill the aquarium.

  3. Many test kits on the market include the proper adjusters with the testing supplies. They carry them at most pet stores.

  4. when you mix your salt it sets your ph to the proper level you shouldnt have to add anything to adjust it. just do your normal water changes and it will be fine. there is nothing out there that works to lower your nitrates for saltwater. again doing the water changes will lower the nitrates. the live rock and live sand will reduce the ammonia and nitrites its part of the cycling

  5. Yes, at pet shops or anywhere they sell aquariums etc, they should have a saltwater aquarium starters set. i would ask someone at a petshop etc because hey probobly know of good, special cheap pakages or wtv
