What chess software is best for analyzing my chess games?

I must be able to set the position and find out what the best move of myself or my opponent would have been at every step of the game. I.e: set the board anyway I need to and analyze from there.

  1. Hey Fritz is highly touted.  I got Fritz 10 for $17 because Fritz 11 is out.  Unless you are about 2000+ rated 10 will be good 4 U for many years.
